Tottenham Hotspur and Bayer Leverkusen played out a thrilling 0-0 draw in their UEFA Champions League Group E clash at the BayArena on Wednesday night. The result leaves both sides level on points at the top of the group, with Monaco just a point behind in third.

Tottenham started the game brightly and had the better of the chances in the first half. Harry Kane had a great chance to put the visitors ahead in the 10th minute, but he headed wide from close range. Leverkusen came out stronger in the second half and had the majority of the possession. However, they were unable to create any clear-cut chances. Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris was rarely troubled and kept a clean sheet.

The draw was a fair result in the end. Both sides had their chances, but neither could find a winning goal. Tottenham will be happy with the point, as it keeps them top of the group. Leverkusen will be disappointed not to have taken all three points, but they remain in contention for a place in the knockout stages.
